Children's Art Exhibit

Organic shapes and rich, warm colors establish a sweet design that promotes the upcoming children’s art event. The boy in the balloon soars through the air as he explores and immerses himself in the wondrous world of the arts. A dreamy design aesthetic was established to represent the wonder of childhood with soft, organic cloud shapes floating around the design leading the boy and the viewer toward the event information. An ornate script font was utilized for the event name and establishes a sense of hierarchy while a clean san serif font contrasts the event name to provide the other details. Varying opacities and slight gradients are used throughout the design to create depth and a focal point. The typographical treatments use a simple off-white hue to offset the rich colors of the design while still maintaining a sense of unity.
